Live events to be protected by £750m government-backed insurance scheme
The last 18 months have been devastating for the Events Industry with so many cancelled events and long-standing businesses not surviving. It is therefore fantastic news to hear that the Government has finally put in place Covid protection for live events starting from next month.
Back in August last year CoverMarque wrote to the treasury in support of covering such events stating that the ‘industry needs urgent and significant support”. We are pleased to have played our part in supporting this initiative. Click here to read the full blog post.
