Changes to Wedding Attendees from 21 June

Wedding Couple

Fantastic news if you have been planning your long-awaited wedding. From 21 June, there will no longer be a cap on the maximum number of attendees at your wedding, civil partnership and reception. Instead, the number of attendees will be determined by how many people the venue or space can safely accommodate with social distancing measures in place. This will be based on the COVID-19 risk assessment of the venue or outdoor space, and the measures put in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.

If you plan on having more than 30 people in your chosen venue, you must complete a COVID-19 risk assessment to determine how many attendees will be able to attend, and following the guidance to make the event as safe as possible.
